Q:  What is the cost and what does it include?

A:  The cost is $8 per person. Teachers are free: one teacher per 20 students. All the Farm Funland activities are included in the $8.00 fee.

Q:  What days of the week do you have field trips?

A:  We schedule field trips Tuesday-Fridays. Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Q: What is the minimum number of students required to make a reservation?

A: We require a minimum of 70 paid guests to book a reservation. This allows us to properly staff for your field trip. If you have less than 70, please choose any Friday date or you are welcome to book a reservation on a Tuesday – Thursday date that already has a confirmed reservation scheduled. Call or email and we will schedule you with another confirmed reservation.

Q:  What is there is threatening weather?

A:  If we close the Farm due to weather you will be notified via the contact number on file by 7:30 a.m. on the morning of the event. If you are not notified by 7:30, you can assume that your event will take place as scheduled. We are a working farm and subject to weather conditions. Should we receive rain accumulation the days prior to your event date and the grounds are too muddy, we could possibly be forced to close the Farm. We cannot safely operate our equipment in the mud. You can reschedule your field trip for another date (reservation requests an alternate date, or “rain-out” date). We understand the complexity of planning a field trip (bus schedules, issuance of check, parental notification, etc.) and will do our utmost to consider these issues when making our decision to close. Our first responsibility, of course, is to provide for the safety of your students. Communication during the days prior to the event is the key to successfully managing the weather event.

Q:  Do you offer educational tutorials?

A: Yes.  We offer 20 minute (approximate) animal tutorials daily at 10:30 a.m. and again at 11:30 a.m.

Q:  Do you have a planned agenda for the students?

A:  No. You are encouraged to let the students enjoy the fun on the Farm and are free to flow through the activities with your class. The only exception is if you have a planned tutorial. You will be required to be at the tutorial site at a specific time....on time, please!

Q:  Do you provide food?

A:  No. You can bring a lunch to enjoy at any of our many picnic tables. Plan on bringing enough water for the children....they will be thirsty. We do sell bottled water, cold drinks for $1.00.

Q:  Do you have restroom facilities?

A: Yes. We provide air conditioned, handicap accessible, separate men, women and family restrooms.

Q:  Do you have air conditioned lunch rooms?

A: No. we are a working farm and everything is outdoors. We do provide picnic tables positioned under shade trees throughout Fun Farmland.

Q:  Can we pay with a credit card?

A:  Yes. We accept major credit cards.

Q:  Can we pick berries?

A: No. Because we can not guarantee berry availability we do not offer berry picking during field trips. Baseball size pumpkins can be purchased for $1.00 each in the Fall depending upon their availability.
